Solely Seoul Day 5/6
Monday, June 17, 2013Went over to Namdaemun Market - within walking distance from Metro Hotel!
It is said that Namdaemun Market is the largest traditional market and all products are sold at affordable prices and it also function as a wholesale market.
See the many many accessories shops in one level. Do note that some shops would not entertain you as they only sell in bulk.
It was only until this stop that I could "grab" kids' clothings! At Myeongdong or other areas we have shopped so far, there was no sight of kids' clothes! Really quality nice clothes at good prices!
There was this long line outside this ho-ddeok stall and it seemed really famous. There's veg and red bean paste flavor. So we must give it a try and do what Singaporeans do best - join the QUEUE.
Enjoying the fruits of our labour!
It was also here we lugged Maxim Korea Coffee packs, Seaweeds, chocolates and my favorite citron tea back.
After the satisfying shopping, we headed back to Myeongdong for late lunch at Yoogane Chicken Galbi. This was also one of our to-eat list as it was highly recommended for its really good Chicken Galbi! Can't wait to go back and eat this again! It's really flavorful and goooood!
Despite luggages packed and may burst anytime, we still walked back to Namdaemun Market the next morning before going to airport. Bought more clothes for the kids!!
Will be back soon!!
