Korea Day 4 - Mount Sorak

Tuesday, January 01, 2013

After skiing and tummy filled, we spent the afternoon at one of the most popular national park - Mount Sorak or otherwise called Seoraksan National park. It is the third highest mountain in South Korea with majestic view of mountains and valleys.
Their mascot?

A gigantic Buddha statue

Err..this guy can really play anywhere and nicely found a slide here

People writing their wishes on the plate

Monkey See Monkey Do. Stone stacking seemed to be a thing here and Sky stacked his own too.

The Sinheungsa Buddhist temple in the Seoraksan National park. Inside the temple lies a tortoise fountain with water flowing out from its mouth. Tortoise symbolize longevity and if you drink water flowing from the tortoise, hopefully you will live longer and healthier. The kids were eager to drink it. The rest of the tour members ventured into the temple. As were were not too keen, we lingered outside and took lotsa pictures.

Warm milo to end the trip here

Another porky dinner..but nice!!! We are carnivorous!

Finally, my little imp wakes up!! He snoozed through the walk in the park!

Hello!

Hello! And thanks for visiting my blog!

With God's love, we have been blessed with three wonderful kiddos. I hope to jot down as many events and details as we journey along this life. One day, when the kids grow up, they have this space to refer to bring back many fond memories and laughter.

With love!
