The Pantheon

The Pantheon has the best preserved, with the biggest brick dome in the history of architecture. The Pantheon is also a national Mausoleum and the resting place of the Italian Royal family.

A simple request to take picture with the roman soldiers turned out to be a rip off! We paid around €10.00 for pictures taken with our camera! No wonder, he directed our posing!

Interior of the Pantheon. Overwhelmed by the huge space!

Trevi Fountain

We went on to our next destination - Trevi Fountain. Another must-see in Rome. There is this tradition that when you throw a coin over your shoulder into the water, you will sure return to Rome! Hmmm. Dh and I are perfect testimony to that! LOL! We threw again this time....another 10 years later perhaps? Anyway, the Trevi coins go towards a good cause - to feed Rome's poor. What have you got to lose?

St. Anastasius Church which is located near the fountain.

Spanish Steps

After the charming Trevi Fountain, we went on to see the monumental stairway.

Charmed by this lovely cuckoo clock shop on our way back. It's really lovely and we took turns taking pictures with the Pinocchio to end the day!

Hello!

Hello! And thanks for visiting my blog!

With God's love, we have been blessed with three wonderful kiddos. I hope to jot down as many events and details as we journey along this life. One day, when the kids grow up, they have this space to refer to bring back many fond memories and laughter.

With love!
