This is not a recent event but I have been wanting to blog this for memory sake.

We did not really educate the kids to call my mum 外婆 and my mil 奶奶。The kids call both "Ah Mas". But, they identify 外婆 as Choa Chu Kang Ah Ma and 奶奶 as Boon Lay Ah Ma by themselves since dunno when (years back?). We were quite amused initally when the kids said it. Gradually, we speak in their lingo :)
