From Canberra to Ballarat

Sunday, April 19, 2015

Back to the 2013 road trip in Aussie.

Leaving Canberra, we drove two hours to Wombat Heights and enjoyed our first COLD cherry picking experience.

Bec hard at work!

It was berrrrrry cold..barely few moments after we started, the weather got colder and the dark clouds soon blanketed us. We were actually fighting against coldness and picking cherries :p We finally made our way back when the drizzle started getting a little tad too heavy.

Despite the stormy weather, we still managed to get 1/3 bucket full of cherries which we enjoyed during our car ride. It was really an experience.

After the interesting cherry picking episode, we drove on to our next pit stop Ballarat. Before Ballarat, we had a delightful afternoon with the beautiful trees and garden at Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve. We also got to acquire the taste of drinking mineral water from the Sulphur Spring and Wyuna Spring.

Hello!

Hello! And thanks for visiting my blog!

With God's love, we have been blessed with three wonderful kiddos. I hope to jot down as many events and details as we journey along this life. One day, when the kids grow up, they have this space to refer to bring back many fond memories and laughter.

With love!
