Figured that Seth just had birthday party and family birthday dinner at Swensons, we made an exception to have a couple dinner instead of the usual family affair for hubby's 38th birthday. Geez...reaching the BIG 4 soon! How scary!
Initially wanted to to go Au Petit Salut @ Dempsy but realised that Bistro at Chip Bee Gardens serve similar dishes and I think cheaper.

Snailss! Both of us ordered set dinner and it's really yummy. For appetisers, we chose Snails and Scallops.
For me: Beef Cheeks, superbly soft and tangy...salivating when i think of it.
Hubby's Lamb Shank. He swept it clean.. But given a $2 mix vege rice, the plate will still be swept clean. LOL! Anyway, it's one of the best lamb shank I ever tried.
Our desserts..Creme Brulee
Homemade Cheesecake
Poached Pineapples..a friendly mistake that the waitress made by bringing an item we did not order. Not that we mind though :)

Seth celebrated his 3rd Birthday with few close family friends. Ordered these lovely cupcakes from Charlotte Grace CakeShop.
Geez..Did not realised that my smile was so much wider with my "daughter-in-law" around.
Last Christmas, Church gave these 2 big dollhouse to the kids as Xmas presents. Had left it in the storehouse and who knows it came in handy to occupy the kids for a while.
After they had
On the actual day, we went to the school for a mini celebration.
Another Angry Bird cake by Charlotte Grace
Serving his friends with the cake
So happy when giving out goodie bags.
Happy Birthday my Valentine Baby. May you grow strong and well and feel extra love from all of us!

Got to skip publishing other posts first and jot this before I forgot!
Episode 1
Today, I was on half day to celebrate Seth's birthday. Hence, we were able to send Sky to school for his CCA. As I needed to check some matters with the CCA teacher, I brought Sky into the court instead of just alighting him. From afar, several girls quickly rushed over to wave at him and called out to him, "Skyler! Skyler". Woah! Quite a sight! Didn't know that he got a mini fan club. No wonder Tess always tell me Sky seemed to have a lot of friends and always "hi" "Bye" to many classmates when she picked him up.
Episode 2
Me: How's yr Monitor role so far?
Sky: Good, because I'm not using the marker.
Me superbly confused: what does marker got to do with being a monitor?
Sky: Alicia (monitress) will be the one writing the names of those who are naughty on the white board.
Me started screaming: so u lose yr marker?? (He's the forgetful sort and I am not surprised if he lost any stuff)
Sky: No! I don't want to take out, let Alicia do the job.
Me: so you do nothing??
Sky: I will tell Alicia who's naughty but she will write the names on the white board. So she's the bad guy not me!
Me: *speechless*

They fought, they snatched, they told tales about each other, they labeled each other with nasty names. You want to know more about sibling rivalry, just hop by and you can easily see a demo.
Yet today when I randomly asked Sky to share 10 good things about his sister, the stuff that came out from our mouth sent a warm fuzzy feeling into us. These may seemed so small in our daily lives and yet he had a thankful heart and remembered such small details that could be easily be dismissed.
From his mouth
1. She let me take the front seat (early morning at 6.50am, they actually have the energy to quarrel who sit in front! Daddy had to dictate Mon, Wed, Fri - Shan and Tues, Thurs - Sky and the schedule rotates weekly)
2. She picks my dirty clothes in the morning and put in the laundry basket
3. She tell me secrets
4. She shared her sweets and goodies with me
5. She bought drinks in school and shared with me (me staring at Shan as I don't allow them to buy drinks during recess. Shan sheepishly quickly defended herself and said that was loooong ago)
6. She helps me carried my bag
7. She takes care of me during recess
8. She played "Spy" games with me (whatever that is)
9. She let me be the "Spy" (*continued scratched head*)
10. She helped me find my water bottle
Awwwww...so sweet.

Under the normal teeth formation, the upper set of teeth should be outside of the lower set of teeth. Unfortunately, for Shannon, her upper set of teeth is either sitting directly on top of the lower set of teeth or inside the lower set of teeth. We also noted that her two teeth beside the central incisor were not growing. To prevent possibility of future jaw alignment operation, we thought it would be good to settle it now when it's still not so serious yet. Of course, another factor for consideration would be her beauty. If this is not fixed, it may resulted in a moon-shaped face.
With Johnny’s recommendation, we brought Shan to an Orthodontist for an analysis. Dr Chee took some photos and made a mould of her set of teeth to determine the next course of actions. She also took her first X-ray. She was so scared to bits prior to the dentist appointment but was relieved that it wasn’t something more terrifying than the usual dentist visits.
After two weeks, the results are out. And yes, it is recommended that she need to put a retainer to do some sort of correction. I was not sure I should go ahead as it's a substantial sum of money (around $2k). In any instances, looks like she would certainly need to put braces when she's 12 yrs and older. And I was not sure if braces can do wonders and fix this problem as well. I would expect Hubby, who's usually the more stingy one, to delay this. Who knows, I overheard from Alice that Hubby actually told Johnny that got to do, else next time 嫁不出去. Gosh, he's actually concern about this aspect.

Remember when we first moved to our current place, we were very excited thinking that the stadium nearby would induced a healthy lifestyle for us. Sad to say, the number of times we make use of the stadium are countable within our ten fingers.
On one of the rare Sunday evening where we were not out bingeing with friends, we decided to go for a jog at the stadium. While hubby, Shan & Sky were in their sport gears, Seth was in his Crocs. And me (sheepishly) flip flop to the stadium in my flip flop with the excuse that Seth wouldn't run and hence, I can't too. But Seth did not want to miss out the fun and did 2 rounds of the stadium with his Crocs. In the end, it was me slacking.
