Started Seth on a playgroup. This is the second playgroup I enrolled him in. The frist, I felt the teacher was not up to standard and withdrew him when this playgroup near my place had vacancy.
I must say that this playgroup is a gem. The teachers are dedicated as compared with the first playgroup. While the first playgroup has 1 main teacher (whose English seems to be half past six) and an aunty to assist, this playgroup has a English teacher, Chinese teacher, an assistant teacher cum admin and an aunty assistant. I was able to sit through for the whole week to settle Seth in and at the first playground, I was whoosh out on the 2nd day.
For the first 15mins, the kids will go to the various corners i.e. artist corner, reading corner, cooking corner, etc. Seth likes the "Little Artist" corner best. The next 2 hrs includes circle time, literacy time, play time, snack time, singing and story time.

Nov is a busy month for me! Daddy kana reservist notice and needed to go Australia for his army duties for nearly 3wks. This means I would have to be the chauffeur mummy instead.
Not only I was busy, Shannon was "busy" as well. Her ballet school staged a concert and there were 3 performances. As her group is the main character, she has to perform for all 3 shows. On the day of the last show, it also coincided with her school chinese dance performance put up for P1 Orientation back to back.

Brought the kids to CHC Children Church for the Children's Day programme.
Pastor mentioned that 8 kids would be chosen as the most fervent worshipper and attentive in bible story / lesson. Guess what! Shan was one of them. She got a chance to go into a container to grab as many chances to win prizes. She told me her heart was pumping very loudly when she went up stage. Too bad, not much luck and she did not manage to win any prizes. To me, the badge worth so much more!
Shan told me that she prayed to God and wanted to do her best for God to see. :)

After some deliberation, we have changed Sky's school. Here he is, in his new uniform, looking smart.

Awesome! Shannon passed her Grade 1 Piano Exam. I knew she put in her hard work for a 10mins test. It was not without cries and struggle but she had made it. I'm proud of her!

After few occasions of being a Page Boy, he's recently being "engaged" to bring prosperity and fertility to Dh's relatives. This is some Chinese belief that young children jumping on a newly-wed couple's new bed will bring baby luck to the couple. They wanted a boy and Sky was given this job. Not sure Sky know the meaning but he sure enjoyed this new job.

Day 1 Driving Up
Immediately back from Bkk on Sun nite, we were busy unpacking and packing. Again with our travel buddies, we were geared for another fun road trip to M'sia (4D Genting + 1D A'Famosa Resort) during the 1 week Sept school holidays.
As usual, we drove up. Stopped over at KFC for lunch.
Ooh..Seth eating up a storm.
It doesn't matter where they are. I believe these buddies are happy as long they are together.
We reached Genting in the evening and after we settled into the hotel, we drove to the nearby town for dinner. We also celebrated Gerald's birthday and fellowship over dinner before we headed back to hotel for rest.
Day 2 Fun @ Genting Outdoor Theme Park
Breakfast to start the day right
A check of the height...hmmm, Jie Jie is eligble for all the rides.
Fun all the way
\
Day 3 Fun @ Indoor Theme Park
Free roaming around the theme park (of course with our descreet surveillance)
Since gor gor and jie jie so bz, Seth has papa & mama all to himself :)
Dinner time agin!
Day 4 More Fun @ Indoor Theme Park & Arcade
The elder kids were enjoying at the Arcade..the younger ones could only take the rides until they are so sianz...
Last dinner @ Genting and we just can't bear to drop the fun and go back Sg since it's a Public Holiday the next day (friday). We decided to extend our trip to another day by dropping by at A'Famosa! The kids were extremely thrilled!
Checked in real late at a apartment in the resort. Check out the big hall and bedrooms. The kiddos were even more excited as we 3 families were bunking in together in the apartment (that comes with 3 bedrooms). That night, the 6 kids slept together in the same room.
Day 5 Fun @ A'Famosa Resort
Since we only had a day to explore, we chose Animal World. There were 4 shows. The shows and route were timed in such a way that you would be able to watch one show after another.
After completing the shows, the kids enjoyed up close and personal time with the rabbits and goats. They pet them, feed them and fool around with them.
After a nice dinner at a nearby restaurant, we drove back home. Whew! Till the next trip!

It took us some planning before we decided to go for a 3D2N trip to Bangkok without the kids. Although we missed the kids terribly, we really enjoyed our shopping, eating and massaging to the max at BKK. We did not feel so bad since we had planned a 4days straight of fun at Genting for the kids when we are back.
Day 1
Took the earliest flight to Bkk and reached there at about 9am+.
First thing in the morning, the guys went to tailor their shirts and pants and we spent the whole morning there.
We had a sumptuous authentic Thai lunch at "Ban Khun Mae" (Address: 458/7-9 Siam Square Soi 8 Rama 1 Rd, Prathumwan, Bkk 10330)
Yummylicous dessert
After lunch, we checked in to Bayoke Sky Hotel (whoohoo, we got free upgrade!).
shopped at Platinum Mall and had a late steamboat dinner at the famous MK restaurant (That explained the lack of photos).
Day 2
Shopping & Shopping again while the guys went for their fitting.
The tees we bought..
We met the guys at Siam Square for another wonderful meal.
Their guavas are sooo good. I packed two back to Sg..too bad, the kids don't really enjoyed the guavas much.
@ Fuji Restaurant (Siam Paragon). Good quality sushi with very reasonable price. Look at the spread we ordered!
The guys got hooked with this bakery "head or tails" and insisted that we tried it. So, we just had to savour it. It's good! The fluffy bread was toasted before it was spread with the Thai Style Kaya (watery like) you chose. There are few flavours - Yam, Pandan to name a few.
After the full meal, we had to exercise the fats out. So off to Chatuchak we went.
Can't help it that the zzz monster visited. Power nap before another tiring walk.
Again no photos cos it's shop and shop and shop till dinner time. We went to Chinatown for our dinner.
@T&K Seafood
After we had our bird nest, we did more shopping and massaging at Papong before we rest for the day.
Day 3
Some shopping around our Hotel vicinity and lunch at Siam Paragon before we leave for Singapore!
