Jie jie giving moral support. We had arranged Sky to take the school van & the sister insisted on follwing him in the van. Dh had to drive to Yew Tee CC in order to pick Shan to school.





Sky cried immediately when he was being put up in the van. He seems to sense that this arrangement isn't something fun. Was still very clingy to me when we reach the school but opened up when the teacher started the lesson via multimedia & particpated in some activities. It's good that I'm allowed to stay with him for the full 2hrs & I understand how they run their programme.

Spending a total of 4 days doing nothing but shopping, eating & massaging without children is really a luxury!! Dh booked Baiyoke Sky hotel from asiaroom & checked "honeymoon". Not expecting anything, we were pleasantly surprised by the following:

This is the first time i shopped till I feel like vomitting..:p Spent much more as a couple than we went as a family last year...Gosh, felt so guity of my spending & decided to swear off shopping till erm..erm..end of the year??

Thanks to my wonderful family who helped to make this happen by taking care of my 2baobeis. My wonderful sis even took Shan to her dancing & music lesson. However, the not so good part is all these are done on on my expenses (eating, taking cab & whatever). She took the chance to bring Shannon to Discovery Centre after her ballet on Saturday. From Ah-ma, Shan was completely shag out & slept all the way after the trip. Unfortunately for ah-ma, Shannon woke up at mid-nite due to hunger call & asked for maggie mee!

Sky is going to start his daily 2hrs playgroup in 1.5 wks time. Can't imagine my little mischief "baby" is going school.

It seems just yesterday when Shannon attended full day CC promptly at 18mths in view of the arrival of Sky. She practically cried for 2wks & for the 1st mth, she had Bronchitis. It was a trying period and we almost wanted to pull her out. I'm glad that I survived that 2 wks and since then, she enjoyed going to school.

This time round, I'm better prepared (for the crying that is to come). Has been praying that he will settle well into the new environment with no hiccups. Friends, do pray for him as well :p

All of us burst out laughing. Will try harder next time.

Shannon's good friend Fredrick visited us last sat. Both of them had fun playing together. This is Fredrick's little brother - baby Lucas @ 8mths old who's so adorable.

Since we went to church on Good Friday, we had a rare opportunity to go outing with the kids' Ah Ma & Ah Yi on a Sunday morning.


Instead of just roaming around, we paid $5 each (adults only) to enter the National Orchid Gardens. There were various species of orchids & it's really a pretty sight.




The only thing is the scorching hot weather that even the kids cannot tahan. This could be due to Shannon's prayer the last nite. She specifically prayed that there will be no rain knowing that she will be going botanical gardens today.









After lunch, the kids sweat it out in the large field before we headed back.

Sky's taste bud is surely different from other children. He loves chinese medication & drink as if he's taking some yummy delicous soup. Hence, to save the hassle of forcing or persuading" Sky to take the western medication who often spit out in the end, we now simply put him on chinese medication if he's just having common flu.

Ah-Ma brought him to Eu Yan Sang for treatment of phlegm recently. I cringed my nose at the smell of the sachet of powder. Sky, on the other hand, will readily drink the brown pasty mixture which really smell "yucky"!

A RAINY afternoon spoiled our plans to bring the children to west coast park..


We decided to let the kids to do some painting to spend the relaxing afternoon.
