Finally, all x'mas celebrations has come to an end.
1. Attended two X'mas services at CHC. Felt blessed as dh's friend responded to the altar call. Shan & Sky got face painting on the 2nd visit.
2. X'mas Party at Ronnie's place
It's a company celebration hosted by dh & Ronnie for their team. Have to "crawl" to work the next day since it's a working half day (Xmas eve)
3. Thanksgiving at our place
Our cell organised Thanksgiving celebration at our house yesterday! It's indeed good fellowship where we had great food, fun & laughter!

Her work today at One Art Studio. Again, she asked to continue lessons but too bad, there's no slot available for regular lessons currently.

Shan has been asking to go for art lessons for some time. So far, I have yet to see a complete painting or picture drew by Shan though. Am not sure if she's really interested in ART. Manage to get around to bring her for a lesson at One Art Studio last Sat. It's a 1.5hr lesson and I finally get to see a complete painting.

Before we moved, Shan would do her practice using the old organ at my mum's place. As we are not bringing the organ with us, I decided to get a keyboard for her. Have been searching around for a recommended model at the forum and finally decided on Casio CTK-496. Just when I wanted to buy, I spotted a gently used set for sale at the forum. Thank God for the favour! Shan happily started her practise again today.

Despite the packing activities on the day before, we woke up on a Saturday feeling fresh. Seeing the Sun, the kids bugged to go swimming (we had asked the kids to pray for a good weather the day before for swimming). Hopefully, we will be more involved with sports since we are so near to the swimming complex and sports complex. The kids had an enjoyable time at the pool.
In the late afternoon, we attended baby Josh full month. Boy..he's really chubby & cute! It's nice catching up with all the old colleagues too.

Sky attended his last day at Enrichment Classroom last friday. I learnt from the teachers that he's the baby of the class. Because, he's the youngest, the teachers called him "Skyler baby"..his friends followed suit and called him the same! His teachers are really dedicated. It was also the completion of the holiday programme - Artist Workshop. The teachers painstakingly compiled their art pieces together. Similarly, I sought the teachers' help to take some pictures for memories.

Have been bussssy for the past wks as we are moving to the new place. Our house has been cluttered with carton boxes and DH really maximised full usage of his Odyssey the past week to gradually move items over. Today is our moving day and the kids are pretty excited! Thanks to God's favour, our reno is completed in time for us to pass the keys to our buyer as planned. The house is also done up to our expectation. It has been a very wet December and we give thanks to our Father God that Mr Sunshine was up yesterday for the final painting and this morning when the movers did the shifting. God's provision is really great!
We managed to unpack everything except the kids' room (waiting for their wardrobe to arrive). In between our packing, I have to settle kids' occasion squabbles and make peace. I must say though, the kids helped in their little ways:
Shan
- the communicator bridge btwn me & dh who's at different rooms doing packing (big time)
- swept the floor
- carrying things around the house when needed
Sky
- swept the floor
- took a 2hr nap - it helped alot as he can be quite a terror! haa!
Though really really tired, I'm happy to shift back to my "hometown" - Clementi. It's such a convenient location! Yet, on the other hand, felt sad that we will be further away from my mum, pa & sis who were previously just 2 blks away.
Today is also Sky's last day in his playgroup and significantly, also the end of his holiday programme. Will post more another day.

Don't like the idea of Shan cruising through December doing nothing. Thus, we signed her up for a 5 days Chinese holiday programe which started today. Looks like she enjoyed it! Was sharing with me about the toy shop she visited today and the things she ate. Hope she enjoyed the week ahead!

Urgg! Shan got a tooth decay! Finally got around to bring Shan to see a neighbourhood dentist last Saturday. However, the gal refused to cooperate! She used her hand to cover her mouth tightly and refused to sit on the chair. The dentist was kind enough not to charge anything and told Shan "It's ok, treat as weekend outing". Have previously sounded Dh out saying there's this very child friendly dentist mentioned over the forum but charges are on a higher side. The moment he hears that the other mum spent about $200 on the first visit, he brushed it aside. Sign! Should I send?
