Shan got a 1 week break fm dancing after the peformance week on 13 May. With Seth at home, i gathered i still need some peace and sent Shan to an adhoc art session while Sky is having his lesson with Berries.
She came back with this:

Compared to Shan, I'm pleasantly surprised that Sky is the more affectionate & loving bro to the little guy. Every day, without fail, he will be the first to coo & kiss the little guy when they are back from school. Sky would also ask to carry the little guy and hug close to him. (The ideal scenario should be they wash their hands & legs first or shower first before touching the bb. But with #3 & two running kids, hygiene is certainly not my top priority).

Shan entertaing the little guy.
So far, there's no detection of jealousy from the 2 of them. Thank god.

Seth is the only little guy I did not go home with when i discharged from hospital. His jaundice level was fluctuating from 12 to 15 and thus, he continued his stay at TMC for photo-theraphy treatment. For that couple of days, his gor-gor and jie-jie will come back with a hopeful qn "Has baby Seth come back?" He only got home on Day 7 & we continued sunbathe him for few more days.
My post natal massage session also started on Day 7 and was finally over yesterday! Auntie Ann is the nonya massage lady that i had faithfully engaged for all my pregnancies. Mind you, the massage is no spa like. Besides the painful massage, I also had to endure the tight wrap overnight for 7 nights. Post natal massage is said to remove wind and restore the womb to original state. The extra thing is that she never failed to guarantee is that i will get back to my shape :)
At 2wks old, he has now more awake time for interaction. He's also a big eater, demanding to be nursed every 2 hours. When birthed, many commented that he looked that Sky. Gradually now, i find that he looks that Shan. Some mentioned that he looks like both.

13 Feb 09
My 40wk appointment has finally came and i hadn't made much progress. Was quite hopeful for things to happen though (those who know me would know why i prefer this date) and asked Dr Tan if i could be induced that day. Dr Tan advised that my cervix was not open yet and decided to schedule induction the following day.
Nevertheless, happily went to Copthorne King for Penang Buffet which I have been craving for 2 wks already. There, Dh saw his OCS Instructor course friend, Pierre Png (Yes, the actor). Both of them catch up on the NS days and he congratulated me dunno how many times! Was sharing with dh that he looks like a unpretentious, friendly and sincere guy.
14 Feb 09 (EDD)
7.45am - Reach TMC for induction.
10am - Finished the procedures of breaking my water bag and passing motion. Dr Tan mentioned that i was in fact 2cm dilated already. Still, as I was feeling no pain, I was being induced. Was pushed to the birth room shortly after and consistent but bearable contraction started to kick in. Valentine's Day seems to be a hot day for giving birth. Almost every half an hour, we will hear bb wailing outside and I was wondering when my turn will come.
12.30pm - All of a sudden, the contraction got intense and longer. I started to moan in pain. Midwife checked that I was 5cm dilated. Started my screaming session and asked for epidural!! The midwife calmly told me "Too late, dear. You are already 8cm dilated." Ok, this sounds familiar..heard this when i'm pushing Shan & Sky out too. Started to feel like pushing but midwife kept telling me not to push first. I could also hear dh's gan jiong voice asking why Dr Tan is not here yet.
1pm - Dr Tan arrived and turned me on the stirrup. Was feeling extremely exhausted and felt that i could just die!! Gave a 2 push and out came Seth!
Was in complete shock when the nurse announced that Seth is a whopping 3.9kg boy. It was the most amazing experience of my life. The pain was awful, but I wouldn't change a moment of it for anything. I'm so proud and amazed that I was able to give birth naturally to my 3 baobeis and my body's ability to do what it needed to do.
I thank God for this beautiful creation.

Shannon has to be coaxed to not to join us in attending XL & Eric's wedding. In the end, dh promised that he will bring them to fly kite the following day.
After church, we managed to locate a party shop in bugis that sells kite and went to West Coast Park to fulfil the promise. It was scorching hot day! The kids had a good workout running with the kites!

As of last week, Shan will have spelling test every Monday. As a diligent (kiasu) mother, I better test her every Sunday before she's being tested the following day.
Instead of giving it to me for marking, she proceeded to mark it herself, gave herself 4 stars and wrote "I am clever ok"! (had to ask me for the spelling of "clever") Very Ego, right?!?

My weight: 62.3kg (urgg...must be the sinful choc cake from Rive that we ate yesterday in celebration of our cell leader, XL's birthday)
Seth's weight: 3.56kg (err...getting worried now...seems a bit big for me to handle...can it pop out just like that?)
Went for check up this morning. Seth still prefer to stay inside a little while longer...either he's enjoying the good food too much to come out or he prefers to be the Valentino (the actual EDD is 14 Feb) or he wants to have same birth date with his gor gor (13 May) or jie jie (13 Aug).

Sky has always been the active one and would not sit his butt straight for long. Even during story time, he would run around rather than patiently sit by your side to listen. I was rather worried abt his lack of attention span.
However, he surprised me by finishing 6pcs of colouring neatly in another room with our helper while i was with Shan on her piano practice.
Soooo proud of him!

On 初二 night, we noted Sky's sausage ear. Must be an insect bite when he went down cycling in the noon. This is the second time and whenever there's a mosq bite or any insect bite, it will get swollen. Shan kept on praying for him and indeed children's prayer is very powerful. His ear was back to the normal size by 初三 night.

my weight: 62.1kg (I'm soooo fat! - Must be the Bubble Teas!)
Seth's weight: 3.38kg
Shannon is happily settled in her bed but not for Sky. For those who know him, you would know that he's a daddy's boy rather than a mummy's boy. Since the start of my 2nd - 3rd Tri, he swung to a extreme "I want mummmmmy" stage. He often wants me to carry him and sleep with him.
For the last week, the routine goes like this almost every night:
a) i pat him/ sleep with him till he sleep on his bed
b) i go back to my bed/ do my stuff
c) 1 - 2hrs later, he woke up, open the door and look for me/ goes to our room.
d) I will bring him back to his room and start step (a)
e) (a) - (d) can repeat for at least 3 times before my persistence wears off and he will end up sleeping on our bed
f) On those days i'm super tired, he will get away with 1 try and be happily sleeping in our bed. No matter what, daddy can't be involved in this process. sign...
These "exercise" during the nights caused fatigue to Sky & myself!!

As per Chinese custom, we couldn't go 拜年this year as the kids' ah gong passed on last year. With nothing on, we decided to go for the Sentosa Flowers 2009 after we visited our parents on 初一. It was a mistake!! All the Bangala and Chinese (china) swarmed here as well. It was so crowded!! There's queues for every main attraction if you want to take photos.

Have been hearing rave reviews on this latest new outdoor hangout and we decided to check it out yesterday. We reached there slightly past 3pm. It was damm sunny and windy!
Level 1 - Main attraction is the water playground
Had a walk through the interesting gallery that highlights the eco & recycling art pieces. There's a section where you could take photos and sent as a e-postcard via email. But till now, I have yet to receive the emails..:(
Level 3 - Rooftop
Lustrous green field for people to fly kites and laze around. We happen to see a couple taking bridal shots and the 2 baobeis are mesmerized by them.

Sky taking a rest enjoying the cool breeze before going off.

It's a great place and not to say it's also a wonderful place to take great pics.. We are really impressed by the visit.

Mummy's Weight: 61.5kg
Seth's Weight: 2.9kg
Counting down to seeing Seth! From now on, it will be a weekly visit to Dr Tan. Got a bit scared when Dr Tan advised that i have to watch the bb's movement carefully as this labour may be fast! But indeed, i have been feeling lotsa Braxton Hicks Contraction these few weeks. Let's see my checklist:
1. Prepare for gifts exchange. Asked Sky what he wants to get for Seth when he come out, he said "small car". Asked him again what he wants Seth to get for him, he answered "BIG car"...hmmmm logicial enough.
2. Pack bag - must do it by this week.
3. The kids' bed was delivered since last Wednesday and the kids has been sleeping with the maid in their room. Shan settled in pretty fast. Sky on the other hand, needs me to pat him or sleep with him till he sleep before i could go out of the room. All is well except last nite, when he came in the room crying for mummmy at 2am.. Was too tired to bring him back and he ended up cuddling in our bed till morning. I must be more discipline.
4. BB's clothes - washed. Realised that there's not much space left in the kids' wardrobe to put Seth's stuff.

This should be how big Seth is in my womb now. I'm at 60kg and Seth has grew to 2.36kg. We had just bought a new bed (with a pull out beneath) and hopefully the kids have a smooth transition to their room.. I seriously can't imagine if 5 of us are going to room in together.

Before going to Ah ma's house, we brought the kids to Bollywood Veggies. We paid $4 (for DH & me only. It's nice of them not to charge for helper). God had answered the kids fervent prayer for the rain to stop. It was a nice stroll and good learning ground for the kids to know about different kinds plants. We even went for a walk through the kelong.

Shan has been rubbing her eyes these days and i brought her to see a GP. Apparently, there's slight inflamation in her eyes. However, i don't see much improvement after putting on the eye cream and taking anti-itch medicine for a few days. Dh came back yesterday and mentioned that an aunty told him the most effective way is to apply chinese tea leaves on her eyes.
Doesn't it looks like ants or worms on her! Today, she told me that she don't feel itchiness anymore. Guess it worked!
