In this term, Sky's playgroup's theme is "Transportation". The school arranged a visit to view the police car. The Neighbourhood Police Centre is just situated in the Community Centre itself where Sky's playgroup is in.
Due to work, I couldn't be there with him and thus passed camera to the teacher. Thanks to the teacher who helped me to take shots.

I'm thankful that Sky has a wonderful teacher (Centre Mgr). On two occassions, she inserted a handwritten notes to me informing me Sky's progress in school. She goes to details such as his crying periods & his participation level during activities throughout the 2hrly session. As they are on "Food" theme, they also provided slips showing the type of food the children tasted & the likeness level to the food. It's a nice gesture & i certainly do appreciate such form of interaction.

Sky's going back for holiday programme - "Little Chef". Hope he has no problem adapting back to school life after a one-week term break.

Sky started his playgroup today.
Posing in his uniform.

Jie jie giving moral support. We had arranged Sky to take the school van & the sister insisted on follwing him in the van. Dh had to drive to Yew Tee CC in order to pick Shan to school.

Sky cried immediately when he was being put up in the van. He seems to sense that this arrangement isn't something fun. Was still very clingy to me when we reach the school but opened up when the teacher started the lesson via multimedia & particpated in some activities. It's good that I'm allowed to stay with him for the full 2hrs & I understand how they run their programme.

Sky peeling off bannana. (Their theme for the week is Food)
Hope he would have less separation anxiety on wednesday.

Sky is going to start his daily 2hrs playgroup in 1.5 wks time. Can't imagine my little mischief "baby" is going school.
It seems just yesterday when Shannon attended full day CC promptly at 18mths in view of the arrival of Sky. She practically cried for 2wks & for the 1st mth, she had Bronchitis. It was a trying period and we almost wanted to pull her out. I'm glad that I survived that 2 wks and since then, she enjoyed going to school.
This time round, I'm better prepared (for the crying that is to come). Has been praying that he will settle well into the new environment with no hiccups. Friends, do pray for him as well :p
