Sky had his first taste of Goat's milk today & he seem to enjoy it! We went to the Goat farm today with Fredrick & family. Shannon was abit apprehensive when feeding the goats. Wanted to go farmart but too bad the weather is not doing us any favour. In the end, Fredrick & family decided to come to our place instead.

Again, Shannon & Fredrick had a great time playing "together"


We end the day by ordering pizza in for dinner. Not very good IMO..don't think we will order from them again..

The kids were shag out & all slept by 9pm.

After Shannon's JG lesson, we had a nice short walk at Kent Ridge Park yesterday. We were lucky to leave the park before the thundering rain came.

Sky has begun to walk on his own for maximum 5 - 8 steps!

Sky had his haircut at fantastic sam today. After the haircut, Aunty Siti commented tat he dun look like a bb anymore. Ya.. indeed! He look like a big boy now especially with a clean cut look! He will be 1 in a month's time! Time really files!

Coming to 11mths, Sky is now erupting the upper lateral incisor. In total, he has 4 upper teeth & 2 lower teeth

We hv been trying to give Shannon a flu jab since last year but it was always out of stock for the last 2 flu season. Finally, we brought Shannon for a flu jab today. What a brave girl..she did not cry at all! We hope that with the flu jab, the episodes of flu virus passing around especially to Sky will end.

He simply love playing ball too. Ah ma said that of all the toys, he always choose ball. When we ask where is the ball, he will go to the toy cabinet to look for it. Hmmm, with all the mummy's milk, i always hope that he will say ma ma first..

For a period of time, Shannon always need someone to hold her hand whenever she poo poo. Somehow, she need this kind of "power" from either me, aunty siti or ah ma in order to finish her business. However, since ah gong intervene, we are free of the smell while she do her business.

And, she will put the chair back after she finish her business. Hope this habit of hers won't last long.

Poor Sky.. he's still down with running nose & phlegm. May god bless him with a healthy body soon! worry worry!

While I'm updating my blog, Shannon is quietly buttoning dh's shirt. I thot she was only fidgeting with it and only when dh prompted then i realised that Shan is really buttoning. It got me so excited!

I'm so proud of her when she finished buttoning dh's shirt. It involves determination & attention span..opps! I guess i'm exaggerating! Can't imagine this small little things can make me so happy!

Exactly a mth apart, Fredrick is indeed Shannon's "qing mei zhu ma". They have went to Genting, KL, zoo trips, parks, swimming, shopping & countless dining sessions together. Fred's mummy was sharing with me that Fred like Shan the best..Last Sun, when warned that Shan is going to visit him, he quickly went to shower (something he dread v. much!) Fredrick's mummy is now preggie with no. 2 but boy again. Too bad..no mate for Sky.

For the 1st time, we went to Fullerton Hotel to attend a function! Today;s Bb Mark's 1yr-old b'day Party. Sky was very excited seeing the function room full of balloons. He seem happy roaming around the mat playing with the trucks and cars. Guess he never has the chance to play much "boyish" stuff at home. At home, he only sees his jie jie playing cooking :p Maybe i should start "investing" in a few trucks & cars.


Food esp the cake (mmm.. yummy!)was good. There was balloon sculpturing which never fails to captivate the children. However, the puppet show was a bit tad disappointing in dh's opinion. I din see it at all..was too busy taking shots for Sky. The one Aunty Janice engaged for Natalie's 6yr old b'day party was much much more entertaining. The kids looked expressionless while the puppet show was going on.

Anyway, we had a good time mingling with the kids.

Shannon had always like the bubbles blowing session and she's happy to see the bubbles in the party pack. In the evening, Shannon had another fun time playing with bubbles.

I'm so blur! I actually forgotten to put my expressed milk in the fridge the previous day & 2 bottles were left with the ice brick overnite. Panicked in the morning as i hv just 3 bottles of frozen milk left. No choice but to ask Ah Ma to feed Sky with the sample size of Similac advance. When I reached home, Ah Ma immediately tell me Sky don't like powdered milk. Whole day can't seem to sleep well & drank only 120ml the whole noon. Aunty Siti also sadly tell me Sky din drink much milk today.

Not sure if Sky is deprived of bm, he nursed like crazy the whole evening! Sign...tot since Sky coming a yr soon, I can slowly wean him off. Seems like not easy & Ah Ma also tell me to do extended bfg till 2yrs. Should I really wean him off at 1yr??

Was in the car & realised my 2 baobei have some similarities

1. Both born on the day 13.
2. Both hv 2 "zhing" on the head.
3. Both hv the same stubborn nature.
3. Both hv the same crawling pattern - shortcut with 1 leg.
4. Both like to eat & enjoy eating at 10mths old.
5. Both inherited my flat nose.
6. Both hv a mole on the back near the hip(left side)

We enjoyed bringing our kids to outdoor & let them expose to the sun. Particularly, west coast park. Since today is a term break for Shannon's JG class, we packed them together with our nieces & nephews in the morning! We optimzed the car today with
3A+driver & 5C. It's one of the days we will grumbled that we had not bot Toyota Wish.

Yesterday was a packed day filled with activities. Cable Ski followed by Disney on Ice and ended with a BBQ @ Changi! I was totally shagged out!

For the past month, Dh and his buddy were hooked up to this sport - Cable Ski @ East Coast. He finally persuaded me to take leave and join him yesterday. He knew I love being in waters (sign! ever since the birth of my 2 baobeis, i have not been swimming). Perhaps he wants me to enjoy so that I won't nag at him for not working (He has been going there during weekday fornightly). It was fun but it left my muscle aching till today. Too bad, I still can't get the hang of it.



For lunch, we went for the famous Katong Laksa. Although I'm a Laksa non-lover, it's very yummy We bought some freshly home baked bao along the street for Shan's munching before picking her up for Disney On Ice. As I called to school to wake Shan up earlier (having nap time in her CC), she, looking stoned in her half awake stage, was already sitting there waiting for us when we reached her school.

Off we go to Singapore Indoor Stadium for Disney On Ice. We bought the Cat 2 Seat and it was worth it! Shan's so excited being so close to Mickey Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck. She smiled so widely throughout the show! I enjoyed it too especially the part where all the princess danced. I still fancy being in the fantasy land..LOL.



We went home for the children to be fed and off we go to Changi Chalat. The children had fun playing together and we had a good fellowship with the cell members! By the time we reach home, it's about 12am.

All of us couln't help but burst out laughing! To think she actually knew how to say "pass' and wanted me to skip this alphabet! Hmmm, where did she learn this from? Hopefully not her school *_~

Sky has been cruising alot lately and often with only 1 hand. On a few occasions, he even let go his hands trying his best to walk forward but to come stumbling down again. He can now stands up on his own from squatting position.

Guess he will be walking by his 1st birthday?
